Registrations are still open for the Best Places To Work in Africa 2018 Program

Best Places To Work in Africa is an international program that certifies annually employers of choice in Africa and provide companies with local and international HR benchmarks for the region.

The list of best employers in Africa aims to determine which employers stand out in their industries in offering exceptional working environments for their employees in Africa. Different criteria are used in the evaluation of employers including: leadership, work environment and well being, compensation and family benefits, vacation and time off, talent and performance management, training and skills development, and finally, community involvement. The program this year is covering Egypt, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Cameroun, Gabon, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa, Angola, Madagascar, Mauritius and other African countries.

In today鈥檚 market, being an employer of choice is not just an asset but a necessity. Employee engagement can influence the attraction, retention and employee performance. In this perspective, the Best Place To Work certification is only granted to companies applying the highest standards of employee conditions. Each certified company can brand its status as employer of choice and communicate this to the employees, job applicants and other stakeholders and it is also an opportunity to brand its ability to offer a rewarding experience to its staff and be part of top companies in Africa.

More than 50 companies have been certified in North Africa including Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia in the past 7 years. This initiative organized by Best Places To Work Institute and Best Companies Group USA, which manages over 50 similar programs in the world in partnership with local organizations.
