Kyiv, December 28th 2023 | Servier Ukraine LLC, a subsidiary of Servier, a global pharmaceutical group governed by a Foundation, has been recognized as one of the best places to work for in Ukraine.

Best Places to Work is an international HR certification program providing employers in different countries the opportunity to learn more about the engagement and satisfaction of their employees and honor those who deliver an outstanding work experience with the highest standards regarding working conditions.

The certification process consisted of an employee assessment survey conducted among Servier Ukraine employees along with an HR Assessment evaluating people practices implemented within the organisation. The key areas covered included leadership, compensation and benefits, recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement, corporate social responsibility, culture, and personal growth opportunities. Servier Ukraine obtained outstanding scores across all employee engagement factors.

“Every member of our team at Servier Ukraine contributes to shaping our workplace into something beyond a mere job, as exemplified by this award. Aligned towards a common purpose, we tirelessly strive every day for the benefit of our patients and colleagues. Our commitment extends further as we continue to enhance corporate programs and cultivate a culture that fosters a rewarding work environment, allowing us to contribute positively to the world. This dedication is a testament to our belief that our employees are the most valuable asset”, said Nicolas Clavreul, General Manager, Servier Ukraine.

“Today, looking out for the safety, health, and confidence of our team is our top focus. This award reflects Servier Ukraine’s commitment to the right priorities. Our team remains unwaveringly committed to our work, guided by our core values, and is prepared to sustain high levels of engagement, even amidst the challenges posed by the ongoing wartime circumstances. We are keenly aware of the needs of employees in our industry, and we provide it in the most responsive way possible”, said Olha Shylova, HR&LD Director, Servier Ukraine.

Founded to serve health, Servier is a global group governed by a Foundation that aspires to have a meaningful social impact, both for patients and for a sustainable world. With its unique governance model, it can fully serve its vocation with a long-term vision: being committed to therapeutic progress to serve patient needs. The 21,400 employees of the Group are committed to this shared vocation, source of inspiration every day.

As a world leader in cardiology, Servier's ambition is to become a focused and innovative player in oncology by targeting hard-to-treat cancers. That is why the Group allocates over 50% of its R&D budget to developing targeted and innovative therapies in oncology.

Neuroscience and immuno-inflammatory diseases are the future growth driver. In these areas, Servier is focused on a limited number of diseases in which accurate patient profiling makes it possible to offer a targeted therapeutic response through precision medicine.

To promote access to quality care for all at a lower cost, the Group also offers a range of quality generic drugs covering most pathologies, relying on strong brands in France, Eastern Europe, Brazil and Nigeria.

In all these areas, the Group includes the patient voice at each stage of the life cycle of a medicine.

Headquartered in France, Servier relies on a strong geographical footprint in over 150 countries and achieved a revenue of €4.9 billion in 2022. In Ukraine Servier operates for more than 20 years.
